Represent an External Device?

Post by rwelch » Sun Oct 14, 2018 4:24 pm

Is there a way to represent an external device to EVE-NG? In other words, to have an external device shown on the topology and be able to click on it for SSH or VNC.

EVE can be installed on server, and you can access to it externally over VPN whatever you like...
My EVE is installed in the DC and I o the VPN access to it from my laptop work on it

The question was about how to represent a device in the topology that is external to EVE-NG. Not how to access it from a remote system.

For example, if you have an external firewall but would like to show that in the topology.

Or, for example, a CentOS VM that is running on ESXi.

Or, for example, a router that is not running in Qemu on the EVE-NG system.

Yes on eve pro it is possible. Adding extra pic on eve topology and link it (telnet) to external device..
