Best OS for Bare metall to run eve-ng

Before posting something, READ the changelog, WATCH the videos, howto and provide following:
Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

hi ,

i have Bare metal server DELL power edge 8 core & 16 G RAM & 500G HDD which support below operating system :

Novell® SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server
Red Hat® Enterprise Linux®

and i need to know which OS will be supported by eve-ng and get best performance , if i can use guide of bare metal to install eve .

Hi ahmed,

if RHEL is supported, Ubuntu is almost guaranteed to work also - stick with Ubuntu for EVE

Only ubuntu is supported...
Other distribution will lack of custom kernel supporting EVE network specific patch
