I was having issues with some EIGRP adjacency from nexus to asa - and after banging my head against the wall for a few hours I realized that the clock ticks are way off in the virtual asa
It seems like for every second of real time only 250ms of time passes in the asa..
Has anyone seen/resolved this issue?
thanks

Re: ASA Clock Tick Issue?
known ASA bug about time. ASA 9.1.5 and 8.4.2
Use ASAv, that have not such time issues

Re: ASA Clock Tick Issue?
Using the ASAv is great, bit it doesn't do "contexts." Those of us who need to work with contexts really need a viable alternative to the ASAv. By the way, this problem with the ASA 8.4 and 9.15 doesn't seem to exist if you run EVE on a VMWare ESXi host, it only seems to be a problem on EVE that runs on VMWare workstation.

Re: ASA Clock Tick Issue?
no,
Any option of EVE, Bare, VM nachine on VM Ware workstation or ESXi, ASA 8.4.2 and 9.1.5 have problem with Time...
It is not EVE issue but particular ASA image...
For clustering or contexts you need not time btw

Sorry, but still doesn't explain why the routing protocols on these ASA images work on EVE with ESXi, but not on EVE with VMWare workstation.
