eve-ng kernel panic when running some images simultaneously

Post by ProTofik » Thu Apr 16, 2020 8:43 pm

Hi,

I have eve-ng installed on Ubuntu 16 VM running on Hyper-V Server 2019 on HP DL360 G7 server.

The issue I have is that when attempting to run some images simultaneously, my eve-ng vm crashes with kernel panic.
Example images I've tested so far

group 1:
L2-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M-15.2-20150703.bin
L3-ADVENTERPRISEK9-M-15.2-M5.3.bin
i86bi_LinuxL3-AdvEnterpriseK9-M2_157_3_May_2018.bin
asa-915-16-k8-CL-L
group 2:
linux-ubuntu-desktop-17.10.1
asav-9101-100.tar
asav-992-100.tar
I can run all images from group 1 at once, or all images from group 2, but I cannot run any image from group 1 and 2 at the same time. As soon as I press start on an image from one group if there is already image from other group running, my host crashes.

Any ideas? Not sure what logs I should be looking at, so any help is appreciated.

My only other option then is to get vmware workstation and run it on my Win 10 machine, which is Ryzen 7 3700x based.

No eve-ng for me then I guess
