Cannot start Cisco Nexus 9000v

Post by ilikeperl » Sun May 17, 2020 4:33 pm

Hi,

I just installed the fresh eve-ng and upgrade it to 2.0.3.-110.

I tried to install the Cisco Nexus 9000v switch into EVE-NG by following this link:

https://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/docume ... 0v-switch/

I downloaded the same version as instruction(nxosv9k-7.0.3.I7.4.qcow2) and did all the right process until

/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions

I got an error message

PHP Warning: file_get_contents(/opt/unetlab/platform): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /opt/unetlab/html/includes/init.php on line 71

The node boots up a few seconds and turns it off itself.

Thanks in advance

You have not enabled Intel CPU-X/EPT on your EVE VM CPU !!!
Check cookbook for install notes and VM settings

I had the same issue. Be sure you have assigned more than 8 GB RAM and more than 2 possessors to your eve-ng vm. It works fine for me with 16 GB RAM and 4 processors. My physical machine has 32 GB RAM. NX9K is a monster.
