hi,
have this issue for a longer time now +2 years. When I create a new node there is about 50% chance it will not start, pretty much all qemu OS are affected windows / linux / network images.
at the moment of writing its happening on tinycore and netem images from eveng repo (had to change name from hda.qcow to virtioa.qcow2, fixpermissions as always)
workaround is to create another node and that one might work, if not, the 3rd time's a charm.
once i "find" the right node it will always work accross reboots etc, no issues after that.
Doesnt affect iol / dynamips.
I have a baremetal deployment, I know this to occuur on another hardware and I am pretty sure it was happening on vmware player.
its as standard is it gets deployment following baremetal guide.
what am i missing here? how to troubleshoot this?

1. Check if you virtualization is enabled with kvm-ok command
2. Which Eve version are you on ?
Run these commands , only one command will show output
dpkg -l eve-ng
dpkg -l eve-ng-pro
