Telnet Console to Ubuntu images

Post by pcasalinho » Sun Dec 10, 2023 11:11 am

Telnet console does not work into ubuntu images. On Alpine images it works.

No Telnet: linux-ubuntu-18.04-server
No Telnet: linux-ubuntu-22.04.02-server
No Telnet: linux-ubuntu-22.04-server
Telnet OK: linux-alpine-3.18.4

Is this a problem of how the images were created?
The vnc console has a problem where not ANSI char don't work (i.e: ç ã ê, etc.).
I think that this is a problem of UltraVNC I've seen before.
Tiger VNC is the only one that I could find that respected non us keyboards.

yes default console is vnc, there are 2 images that come with RDP by default linux-ubuntu-mate and linux-mint. Otherwise, feel free to make your own image https://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/docume ... ost-image/
