Your install is: Bare metal, ESXi, what CPU model, RAM, HD, what EVE version you have, output of the uname -a and any other info that might help us faster.

%IP-4-DUPADDR when IOL or vIOS interface connected to Cloud0 (Management)

Post by skytiger » Wed Oct 03, 2018 7:32 pm

Hello,

I am running EVE Community on Vmware Workstation. The first network adapter of my EVE VM is Bridge to the WLAN NIC of my laptop.

When connecting IOL or vIOS ethernet interface to cloud0 (Management) in my lab, device is complaining about duplicate IP address ..

*Oct 3 19:29:49.128: %IP-4-DUPADDR: Duplicate address 192.168.0.166 on Ethernet0/3, sourced by 14ab.c504.48db

14ab.c504.48db is the mac address of my WLAN NIC (which has a different IP address in the same subnet)

Is this a known issue/bug ?

Thanks
