Hello All,
I am new to EVE-NG, and so far i enjoy it better than gns3.
I am currently having a problem trying to get ASAv to work. I followed all the steps in the how to documentation, and the ASAv shows up under the nodes. However, when i try to start it, it wont start. Sometimes it will start, but it will shut off right away. I am using asav952.205.qcow2 image. Has anyone experienced this issue? how did you go around it?
Also, i did not download this image from Cisco. I found it online.

Re: nodes starting and stopping
ASAv must be prepared form original cisco qcow2 image.
Please follow how to
https://www.eve-ng.net/documentation/ho ... cisco-asav
and make sure that you had deployed EVE right, and did all settings..
if qemu node won't start, it can be issue that you did not enabled Intel VT-X/EPT option on your EVE VM CPU.
Please watch carefully how to deploy EVE OVA

Re: nodes starting and stopping
I am able to keep ASAv up now. Turns out virtualization was not turned on for the vCPUs.
Now the problem is that although ASAv is starting, it is stuck here
Platform ASAv
IO memory blocks requested from bigphys 32bit: 87680
This keeps loopiing. I waited about 30 minutes to see if anything would change, but i didn't have any luck.
