Yep, when using unzoom before saving, issue is not seen

But if forget to use it, not good things can happen

I still have the same issues with a particular lab (multiple different installs of EVE - 1 in VMware player on a desktop, 1 in VM workstation on a laptop and 2 bare metal builds) - same issue in various browsers and versions.

Stumped - EVE devs have had my lab and they get no issues.

My thread from a while ago: http://www.eve-ng.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=801 link to video in this post http://www.eve-ng.net/forum/viewtopic.p ... t=10#p2896

All I can imagine is that I have to recreate the lab from scratch - for the moment I just keep doing a re-position.

Hi comrade,

Try to zoom out before making any change. I have the same issue and for now it is the only solution/workaround

Hope developers will fix this annoying issue soon

Leave time to EVE Server to record position.

The mechanism is :

User move object. When release mouse button, Browser send new coordinates.
EVE record changes and rewrite lab file
When done EVE Server send acknowledgement for the move

You should always give some times to EVE before moving other object or closing lab or using refresh topology button.
In a local network, it take less than a second but in case of high latency, network poor quality , this can take up to 5 seconds....

No need for this, you can create a lab from 3 nodes and put 2 of them in far right corner, not to be seen unless zoomed out, save and close it, and when you open, those 2 nodes will be in random places

Guess issue is not with network latency. I've waiting way too long, but the result is the same

Excuse me sir, but I tested couple labs and created new as well.
Tested 2 options zoom in/out native zoom scaling and
2. EVE zooming.
Positions always saved.
v84 :)

Both options works perfectly.

Fascinating :D
Anyway, zoom seems to be the only option for now
