Hi Folks,
As you may already know eve-ng creates virtual links, vunl0_1 for example. However these VUNL interface speed is just 10mbit. Is there a way to increase it? I`m teting with Ostinato and unable to send traffic in correct volumes. Have you ever noticed the same issue?
Cheers,

Interconnection the nodes it is 1Gbps
rest is what your particular node is supporting.
Example ASAv has only 100Kbps w/o lic
same for Arista, CSR...
Best performance for switches is IOL, 100Mbps, same IOL Routers via NAT even

Many thx. Do you know any performance issues for Nokia 7750 vSIM. Having license for R14 and trying to send traffic from Ostinato. e1000 supports only 65 packets but virtio NIC supports 250 pps even if Ostinato sends 1000-2000 pps. Issue has not been observed for any other platforms. Tested with IOS, back-to-back two Ostinato no single issue, can reach upto 1Gpbs as you referred. But for Nokia it is not the case. There is no bw limitation because tested with even Jumbo frames but result is same in terms of packet per second. Previously having a dedicated vSIM server based on KVM and virsh did not encounter such an issue.
I hope is there a way to finetune or fix the problem.
Cheers

We cannot tune images provided by vendors for lab use...
Same issue is for Arista and Nakia, some other as well.
EVE is not blocking that speed at all
