EVE-NG Community - adding an extra interface stops access to EVE-ng

Hello

I'm having a problem with eve-ng running on ESXi
Everything seems to work ok if I use only one interface.
I can ping, I can create labs, and all the images can go to the internet, no problems

As soon as I add a new interface in ESXi for EVE-NG, I can't access it anymore
The routing is still in place,
pnet0 is still showing the same IP, but I can't access it.
It won't ping anymore, not even the gateway, and is not reachable via SSH or webUI
I can only access it via the console in ESXi

I tried to import a new instance of the same OVA file, but the same behaviour is happening

Removing the interface will regain access to the network, and it will be accessible again

Has anyone experienced the same behaviour?

I can't figure out what it is that is ruining the network traffic

Thank you in advance for any tips

First of all, download our latest Eve 6.x https://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/download/#DL-COMM
and try it.

Thank you for the suggestion

I think I have the latest version

dpkg -l eve-ng
Desired=Unknown/Install/Remove/Purge/Hold
| Status=Not/Inst/Conf-files/Unpacked/halF-conf/Half-inst/trig-aWait/Trig-pend
|/ Err?=(none)/Reinst-required (Status,Err: uppercase=bad)
||/ Name Version Architecture Description
+++-==============-============-============-==============================================
ii eve-ng 6.2.0-4 amd64 A new generation software for networking labs.
root@eve-ng:~#

Although I don't understand the error (whether it is relevant or if I can ignore it)
Everything works fine apart from the fact that I can only use one cloud

If there is a log or something that I can check so I can understand it, it would be nice

thank you

check if interfaces don't mix like in this example

Thank you for the reply

I think something is wrong with the OVA file I use
Everything works perfectly if I leave it with one interface, as it comes when importing it
When I add a second interface within ESXi, no matter what vswitch I use, no matter what Ethernet I select (I tried them all e1000, VMNEX2, e1000e etc,) you can't reach anymore EVE-NG via its IP
The route is there, the IP is still set, but can't connect
I can only access it through the ESXi console

I can't figure out what could cause the disruption
Maybe the system was configured with one interface only, but even that, doesn't explain why the main interface would stop working :|
I would expect the second interface, maybe not to work, but not to kill the first one
I am puzzled

I've installed a new instance using the ISO this time, and that works as expected with the interfaces, although I am finding some other issues with it
Links between nodes can't be added if the nodes are running (on the other one, you can play as you like, no matter if the nodes are running or not)
and moving images from one instance to the other doesn't make them available through the GUI :\
tried backup-manager, tried copying them one by one, tar.gz the full qemu folder and extracted to the right place, run fixpermissions, nothing seems to make most of the images available, only few are available

Anyway, this should be another topic :)

Thank you for the input, I wrote on this forum in case someone else has had the same experience and found a solution :)
I'll keep trying a few things, but I am stuck, as it makes no sense to me
