Network adaptor
i have installed eve-ng on vmware workstation.i have added two network addaptors to eve-ng. but when i enter " ifconfig " it shows only one network adapter has ip address. ( i.e only pnet0 is assigned ip address. pnet1 is not assigned any address ). may i know the reason for it

yes i did set up 2 interfaces according to the video but it doesnt show up when i enter " ifconfig" . if you are using eve-ng can you pls verify that you can set up 2 interfaces in yours

you nee dnot set IP on second interface until you have plans use second EVE IP for web GUI access.
By default only one IP must be on EVE, for management only.
Rest interfaces are bridged with external VMnets, so no ip need on it at all.
Subnets on bridged interfaces binds to subnet of VMnat.
