QEMU - CPU usage high?

Post by dragonfly » Sun Oct 21, 2018 12:10 pm

Currently using the folowing image: viosl2-15.2.4055

Should the CPU of this device be so high for one switch; 45%

I have tried to perform the same trick, as with the routers by trying define the idle speed (Control ' '}', then 'i ') But this doesn't seem to work in the same way.

Any ideas anyone ?

Or is 45% for one switch acceptiable on this platform ?

vIOS is known CPU hit node, there we can do nothing on the EVE..
Advice use IOL for biggerlabs..it is really light but very powerful image...
Last versions of IOL:
i86bi_LinuxL2-AdvEnterpriseK9-M_152_May_2018.bin
i86bi_LinuxL3-AdvEnterpriseK9-M2_157_3_May_2018.bin

IOL are better in technology or are same vs vIOS !!!
