I'm new to eve-ng and have it installed on my MBP. However, the MBP doesn't have enough ram. I'm working on the Juniper DC cert track and based on the eve calculator I'll need ~50gb of ram to run a decent sized lab. A fellow Juniper eve-ng'er is running 2 X 6-core Xeon processors with 144GB of ram.
Apple recently released a new mac mini that supports 64GB of ram with a 6-Core 3.2GHz Intel Core i7 with Turbo Boost up to 4.6GHz and 12MB shared L3 cache. The footprint of the mini is compact and perfect for a home office.
Is anyone else running hardware similar to the mac mini spec for their set up? If so, what's your experience?
A mac mini with 64GB of ram is not a trivial purchase so I'm trying to confirm it'll work before making the commitment.
Thanks--

Re: New mac mini- 64GB
Mac mini is an awesome machine, but for that price I would go for a beefy server.
