I'm learning configuring juniper firewall. I install EVE Community but cannot set IP Assign to static( I chose Static mode but have no option to enter IP/Gateway/DNS). Machine give me a IP automatically.
I'm using VM-Ware Pro, Network Bridge set to NAT.
Help!

Q: How to reset EVE management IP settings / DNS / NTP / Root password ?
A: from the EVE cli type: rm -f /opt/ovf/.configured. Then reboot and login from cli again. Your EVE will jump to initial setup wizard.

when IP wizard is asking DHCP or Stat ip, you must select option static.

I selected static but then have no option to enter IP/Gateway. machine ignored those options!
