Bridging Linux VM to Host Network?

Post by DreamTFK » Wed Jan 16, 2019 11:38 pm

Hopefully I worded the title right. I want to practice Ansible in my lab and need my Linux node to have access to the internet.

It wouldn't get an address by DHCP like my Eve-NG VM did. I manually configured an IP on it from the same network but I still can't reach the internet or even ping my Eve-NG VM.

Verified mask and GW are correct.

Thank you for the link but I am not sure exactly which piece in section 10 I am supposed to be looking at?

My VM network adapter settings are already set to bridge to my physical network.

I have also faced the same problem on my laptop with Linux. It may be like the Windows error. So, I firstly updated the system, but it was of no benefit. I have searched the Internet a lot and learned about Windows update error code 8007000e . I think it is the same problem that we are facing.
