Timer for node automatic start for lab

Post by getirfanb » Mon Dec 17, 2018 9:09 pm

Hi Team,

How about assigning timer for node startup one by one or group of devices for large and heavy nodes to save time.

Or schedule lab time to start complete lab nodes automatically.

Regards,
Irf

We have delay option start of nodes.
Right click edit node.

When you set delay time in seconds eve will wait that time before to start node...
You can set delay 0 sec delay for first bunch of nodes, then delay 900 for next
example 5 nodes has delay 0, they will start immediately on mass start
but other 5 nodes have delay 900, means in mass start, nodes with 900 will start after 900 sec..

Scheduled date/time boot is not planned yet.

What do you thing about an option per lab where you can set a delay between the startup for each device generally?
Not a big problem, but I've just created a lab with 20 nodes and i had to configure one by one the same delay (0, 60, 120, 180, 240... ).
