Startup config files

Hello
After having my 7200 Rtr switched off and having my Startup configfiles stored , i cant get it running with my stored startup config. It always starts up from a clean sheet. Is this normal en how could i fix this ?

2 options:
1. if you simply do 'wr' then your cfg is stored in the NVRAM and after you simply stop node it is stored and on next start your router will boot from it
2. you can do export config, with will be exported as initial startup config for your node..
To boot from exported config make sure you node is set boot from exported, wipe node and start.
Node will boot from exported cfg

Hello Uldis,
Thanks for your explaination and pointing me to the exact video i needed, it was very helpfull.
Another thing, After putting my question out there i realized i might had did it in the wrong topic , so i believe i deleted this one and made antoher in the General topic.
