hi Uldis

thanks for the reply.

i am able to run vManage, vSmart, vBond and vedge :) . i am struggling with the vedge license file. is there a way to get vedge license file for lab/learning purpose? if there is license file which we can upload using a particular organization name, that would be good to learn Cisco sd-wan. waiting for your reply.

I am not viptela or cisco.
Only they can issue such license.

And if you would have such license file with your organization name and other attributes in it, will you share it to any???

vill test soon guys..Hope will be in eve
Hi Uldis,
I am getting an error with viptela vManage.
The node boot up fine, but because it needs an addition Storage Disk, it will not go further.
I tried the same thing on the ESXI host, but ESXI being what it is, I am able to add an extra HDD for storage, but not successful on eve's
virtioa.qcow2 file, hence I am not able to use the node. See Attachment.

Any help with how to get pass this limitation?

4. Deployment of Cisco Viptela vManage 18.4.1 image

Step 1. SSH to EVE and login as root, from cli and create temporary working directory on the EVE's root:

mkdir /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/vtmgmt-18.4.1

Step 2. Upload the downloaded viptela-vmanage-18.4.1-genericx86-64.qcow2 image to the /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/vtmgmt-18.4.1 using FileZilla or WinSCP.

Step 3. Go to image location and rename uploaded image to hda.qcow2:

cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/vtmgmtt-18.4.1

mv viptela-vmanage-18.4.1-genericx86-64.qcow2 hda.qcow2

Step 4. Create addittional storage 100Gb HDD hdb.qcow2:

/opt/qemu/bin/qemu-img create -f qcow2 hdb.qcow2 100G
