Some features not running on Juniper Olive

Post by NitrousOxyde » Mon Jun 11, 2018 8:02 am

Comrades,

I've noticed that in spite of enabling PIM and MPLS on relevant interfaces of Juniper Olive instances, neighbors are not discovered and labels are not exchanged

Any ideas, is this limitation of Olive, or EVE?

Thank you!

I don't know but suspect it's a limiation of the Olive - I would not use it - it's old and doesn't represent real world Juniper Junos devices of the last few years.

I would source the single qcow2 image version of the vMX (Juniper vMX 14.1.4R8) as a starter or better still (if you have a powerful EVE-NG server) use the later twin image versions of vMX.

You can see the supported images here http://www.eve-ng.net/documentation/supported-images - but you can also create images yourself using the guides. Example here: http://www.eve-ng.net/documentation/how ... -16-x-17-x

Obviously don't request images in this forum.

Cheers
