Bare Metal AMD Ryzen5 3600X: "Loading Initial Ramdisk"

Post by fgatti » Tue May 26, 2020 2:06 pm

First post here.

My EVE-NG server seems to works fine, I can ssh it, I can open EVE-NG and run my simulation. The only issue in console, which does not output the boot, and eventually does not show the shell in the monitor. It stucks in "Loading Initial Ramdisk". My server details below. Any ideas?

AMD Ryzen 5 3600X CPU
Bios American Megatrends 1405, 2019-11-19

Memory: CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 DRAM DDR4 3200 (PC4 25600)
GPU: GIGABYTE Radeon RX 5700 XT GAMING OC 8G Graphics Card, PCIe 4.0, 8GB 256-Bit GDDR6, GV-R57XTGAMING OC-8GD Video Card

Does your MB comes with integraded Graphics? If so, and if you have the option, after boot up try to swap your monitor to the integrated video port
to see if for some reason the video output switched.

Another question is which EVE installation method you used? The community version latest ISO? or did you installed Ubuntu and then EVE manually ?

And btw the latest ISO installation is full automatic, just in case and I think is worth mentioning.
