Web service not running

Hi

After i setup EVE using ISO in exsi 6.5, running apt-get update and apt-get upgrade in which afterward try to access http://<ip address of EVE> but does not work. it said page not responding.

I am unable from PC telnet to port 80 and 443 of EVE virtual machine as well.

Please advice thank you.

but did you complete setup of EVE, because installation is going in 2 stages.
Re watch how to install EVE on ESXi video please.

Hi,

The only difference i can see that the there is option to select the menu on last part of the video before opening the web browser.

Did i miss out any package - the iso i get for esxi host.

without seeing what you did there I cant help mate.
I suppose EVE is not installed at all...
You just installed Ubuntu, but not finished eve install

Hi Uld,

Just to update the issue resolved. Actually in previous setup, i am not allowing the VM to connect to internet.

After i re-setup and allowing the VM to go internet, it is able to connect via HTTP.
