Need help to load CiscoVirl images

Post by usmle » Thu Aug 10, 2017 12:25 am

Hello guys,
I bought VIRL and would like to load the images on EVE-NG so can try with different vendors not only cisco
Can't load them on the platform ... don't know what am missing tho

Some files are already in qcow2 as for example "csr1000v-universalk9.16.3.1-build2.qcow2" but when change the name into hda or virtioa as descrybed on the following link (http://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/documen ... ages-table) it doesn't work

Also I already have the files of xrv-k9 in vmdk and convert them into qcow2 with the following command /opt/qemu/bin/qemu-img convert -f vmdk -O qcow2 iosxrv-demo.vmdk hda.qcow2
it still doesn't work the "hda.qcow2" file

On the video instructions it says that option "Virtualize Intel VT-x/EPT or AMD-V/RVI" has to be checked
and I have already done but when start the VM it says that these option is not possible
Still don't think thats the issue because I have other ASA Qemu, IOL and some Dynamips
Any idea or suggestions what should I do ?

Thanks in advance
