trying to bring up vJunos Router

Post by adamfree » Wed Sep 17, 2025 10:23 am

Hi.
I have installed eve-ng community version (updated to 5.0.1-24 version) on Wmware Workstation on my Windows 11 PC. I also added vJunos-router image downloaded from Juniper website (vJunos-router-23.2R1.15.qcow2) and followed the guide on the eve-ng to prepare this image. I built a simple topology with 3 routers and started them. The routers started to boot and I can see booting messages appear on the terminal. However after long time waiting they don't come to the CLI. there are no error messages and even after I pressing Enter, I entered to the new line on terminal but as I said, they seemed to stopped right there and never enters the Junos CLI.
have you tried to bring this image on eve-ng before? I didn't changed any properties of the image (like RAM, CPU, ...). All left as their defaults.

thanks.
