ESXi | Connect Lab to Internet [SOLVED]
Posted: Sat Sep 23, 2017 8:30 am
Hi there,
I'm struggling to connect my Lab to the Internet with ESXi.
Additional Info: My Box running ESXi only has one physical NIC.
It is the first time I did setup ESXi. I'm used to VM Workstation.
In VMware Workstation, I could configure a vNIC in "bridged mode" or "NAT mode" to connect directly to my home network (192.168.0.0/24).
In ESXi I don't see this option.
How to you solve this?
A dedicated VM for NATing?
Or is a "briged mode" also somehow possible in ESXi?
I did setup a 2nd vNIC for the EVE-NG VM, see here: Maybe one of you has a hint, where to look further?
Do I need to configure the pnet1 Interface?
Thank you all!
Joe
