Could you please help !!! I get the GUI page but when I inter username password I cannot log into and no error message is showing.
What can I do? I have rebooted VM and my PC without success

Could it be a memory issue? Could you please check the attached picture I have a directory that is taking 100% of memory

It is space on boot hdd issue.
use command:

apt autoremove

it will cleanup older packages from your boot

I executed the command and extanded the hard drive, it's now working.
