Failed to start routers "Cisco vIOS" in EVE-NG Lab

Post by TariqMehmood » Sat Jun 22, 2019 7:25 am

Hi guys:
I'm having issues getting the nodes to start in EVE-NG Lab, the problem in "Cisco vIOS" and "Cisco vIOS L2", Note--->"Cisco ios 7206VXR " is working properly on/off but. I want to run all nodes as in default topology(Cisco vIOS), a snapshot is given below.
all node not ON, it shows ON but after some time it becomes OFF.
Specification-->i set 40 HDD and 16GB RAM

Anyone has experience with this issue, and know the fix? Thank you for looking into it.

Short CPU settings and RAM as well..
You have 20 vIOS routers which require about 20Gb ram
and XR nodes which each need min 3Gb

This lab need min x8 vCPU and 24G RAM assignec for EVE VM

As per your direction, I set CPU as 8 vCPU and 32 GB RAM , 1st I make sure OFF the all node in the eve lab, then I try to ON one by one. But problem not solve.
again I increase 64GB RAM(note we created CCIE Lab vm in vSpherclient) but issue not resolve.

did you count how many nodes are on topology?
24, and each require at least 1 CPU to run...
8 vCPU obviously is too short..
RAM 64 is ok

yes, I count, its 24 nodes, But this is the maximum vCPU size option in the vSphercilent that I assign. as shown in the snape. so what is is the solution?. this topology not run.? we must create topology as per our limitation of CPUs size? please explain
