Hi everyone. I'm using EVE-NG couple of month on a bare metal install. It was working perfectly until update .99 came. After updating and rebooting I got this message:
"Malformed binary after Attribute Certificate Table
datasize: 1134592 SumOfBytesHashed: 1133056 SecDir->Size: 1912
hashsize: 4294966920 SecDir->VirtualAddress: 0x00114A00
Failed to load image: Invalid Parameter
start_image () returned Invalid Parameter"
Since there was official announcement that update .99 was buggy, and after that update .100 was released, I installed EVE-NG Community from backup image, and after upgrading with the new .100 update, the same problem appeared. I've followed official update guide https://www.eve-ng.net/index.php/how-to ... t-version/. Any thoughts?

I just upgraded and it has the same problem with 102 update. Probably I'll stick to the old version. Thanks anyway.

During the restore process with Clonezilla, I found out that after the upgrade and reboot, sda3 partition is gone. So sda1-vfat and sda2-ext are still visible, but no sda3, where the actual images and EVE-NG are stored. Maybe the update somehow erases the sda3 partition. I'm not so familiar with linux, maybe I'm wrong.

EVE does not support clones !!!
And if you cannot upgrade eve you simply do not follow how to.
Most reason why you cannot update EVE is overloaded HDD /boot/folder.
Or simply have issues with internet access ipv6 for example

ALL EVEs are upgradeable !
Simply your case something is missed lost in the EVE you cannot complete update..
