Unable to copy ISO image from Winscp to Google cloud VM
Hi Team,
I created a VM instance successfully in Google cloud and i get external ip ok (35.x.x.x) and i have allowed IP (0.0.0.0/0) and TCP firewall and ports(0-65535) ingress and egress under FW rules .I am facing problems trying to copy iso image using Winscp.I get "searching for host " message all the time.I googled and found videos to generate private key-publick key and add it under "authentication" for winscp but still it doesnt go beyond the "searching for host" thing.I suspect it isnt even reaching the IP (35.x.x.x).Also the eve main page opens up fine with this external IP.I also tried restarting VM's and tried logging with the new IP's everytime but no luck .
very frustrating to reach this near and yet so far. Please help.

No issues at all.
You must be sure if you have allowed SSH to this node.
Then obviously connect ot VM as root user !!!
And using WinSCP SFTP protocol port 22 all works like charm

All simple, you had not set properly inbound/outboud FW settings on EVE GCP...
Your pc is even not connecting to it
FW issues GCP
