Management(cloud0) dont work

Hi I have installed eve-ng5 .0.1-19-Community, on a EXSI server

everything work, and can connect to the EVE GUI, also from other subnet than the one eve-ng is using, so routing works!

but when making a network connection (cloud0) i cant get ping anything outside the EVE-NG

I have installed a simple router where I configured a interface in the same subnet as the eve-ng.
from that router i can ping the eve-ng addresse, but not the default gateway for the subnet.
From the eve-ng cli i can ping the router interface. and of course the default gateway of the evn-ng subnet

I have then also installed a window computer on the exsi in the same vlan, and it can ping the eve-ng but not the router.
So for me it looks like there is a problem with the bridge function of the network management(cloud0)

anybody have any good ideas ?

just before you start by shooting about simpel network things, I will state i hold a CCIE certification, so i do know how network works ;)

best regards
Torben

you should enable Promiscuous mode in esxi https://www.eve-ng.net/wp-content/uploa ... df#page=19

I understand that Promiscuous mode should be enabled if i want to get the traffic out of the interface on the EXSI server. - And the promiscuous mode is set to allowed.
But why cant i ping a host - my virtual windows machine on the same vlan ?
that trafic will only run inside the vSwitch in the Exsi
and again the windows machine can ping the eve-ng just fine.
