i have an eve-ng instance on esxi with a couple interfaces mappped to physical ports on host.
one interface is to be used as trunk with vlan 500-506 to a 3750
when i sniff the interface on the host i connected to the 3750 I see the CDP and other L2 traffic but nothing from the switch running in eve-ng. I have sniffed the switch and verify its correct cloud interface. however the traffic from either side doesn't see each other.
whenever i make the interface on the switch an access port i see traffic from the other cloud interfaces which are only access vlan 999.
I think the tagging is being stripped and maybe i need to add the vlans to the pnet interface.
anyone else have recommendations or directions on how to fix this?

To have working EVE cloud as trunk, you must be sure that followed EVE Cookbook ESXi install steps. To enable promiscue mode and revers path routing on your vswitch.

Re: Dot1q interface addition
all of that has been done on esxi, 9.2 from cookbook isn't supported on community.
traffic on vm pnet interface when sniffed shows the tagged traffic inbound on the interface. however when switch in eve doesn't show the tagged traffic when sniffed
