EVE Failing to Start (Initramfs)

I have been using EVE without problem for some time now. However since yesterday, I'm unable to get it to work. When i start EVE in Esxi 6.5, the EVE logo appears for less than 2 seconds and directly goes to Initramfs mode (see screenshot).
NB: At this moment, i can't ping it or reach it through ssh or browser.

I afraid, that your eve is lost.
Usually such appears when your HDD is crashed..

Hi Uldis,
I am experiencing the same issue few times now.
This symptom keep occurring few times mostly when moving mouse around etc on browser (Firefox) and unable to do anything. Then when try to login again, it is not possible to login. Then, after Eve rebooted via CLI, it goes to "initramfs" prompt. Note that when EVE was rebooted, all devices were UP running and not possible to shutdown even.
When "fsck -y /dev/mapper/eve--ng--vg-root" on that prompt, reboot EVE, we can login and start the LABs.
When you say it happens when HD crash, is there any solution to improve this for the stability?
My setup:
SuperMicro MB, ESXi 6.7, Intel Xeon E5-2620 v4, 128G RAM, 1T SDD (4x 250G HD)EVE-NG Community 2.0.3-92.

Mathew,
The reason for such HDD behave, is brute power off or power outage of your EVE.
Make sure you dont do it.
Use cli command
shutdown -h now.
of course if your nodes were running when you rebooted eve, it corrupted that lab.
Keep eye on your EVE, do not overload its resource to run lab..
There is not hing to advice or improve.
Just use your EVE wisely

Thanks for this post. I know it's been here for a while but it saved me today. Eve-NG wouldn't run and following these instructions, plus

unl_wrapper -a restoredb ; grep -q default_time_zone /etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/mysqld.cnf || echo "default_time_zone='+00:00'" >> /etc/mysql/mysql.conf.d/mysqld.cnf ; systemctl restart mysql
and then a
got me 100% back.

I tried with blkid and got the following output . After i had pressed E and i had got to GRUB i modified the name but i was not able to save the chages even pressing ctrl+s. I tried with fsck /dev/mapper/eve--ng--vg-swap_1 -y but it did not solve the issue
