I have been using UNL for some time now and I have upgraded to eve-ng. Its a fabulous tool and i would like to thank all who have been supporting it.
I am in the process of getting a server at work to set it up for our network department to use.
so to the issue I have, I have never used ostinato on UNL before, so its the first time I am trying to get it to run in eve. I am trying to get the drone to fire up in eve with no success. I downloaded a copy of the qcow2 virtual appliance from
http://www.bernhard-ehlers.de/projects/ostinato4gns3/.
copied it into eve using filezilla and renamed it to hda.qcow2. The folder name I used was ostinato, I then fixed the persmissions and tried to add the node,
unsuccessfully.
has anyone gotten it to work on eve, if so how was it done?

Looks like you missed right foldername, right yesterday I tested Ostinato downloaded from web page mentioned by you.
Any qcow2 images worked perfect.
Setup:
1. Create "ostinato-8.0.1" folder.
2. Copy original ostinato qcow file and rename it to hda.qcow2
3. Connect ostinato e0 interface to your management cloud, Cloud0
4. start it, if you have DHCP configured on your management LAN, dron will get IP from it
5. run application for ostinato management
6. add Ostinato dron IP:7878
Done:)
Very similar is video which I created for UNL

Hello Uldis, can you confirm if the Ostinato Client should match the Drone? I tried to connect client 0.71 to Dron 0.8.1 but it didn't connect.

Hello ecze, these are the commands I used to install Ostinato in my EVE, but when I try to connect the GUI 0.7.1 to the Drone it doesn't connect, so my question is if both GUI/Drone versions should match or not?
