Is it possible to map /opt/unetlab/addons/ to a shared drive? I would like to have multiple machines use the same known working qcow2 images.

If you are using a Linux OS, I don't see why it wouldn't be possible to mount a distant drive there.
You will have to try to be sure of that though.
