SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH STARTUP-CONFIG

Hello guys,
I have a very serious problem that keeps me for moving forward in my work;
when I configure my routers (CISCO IOS 7206VXR) and save the config (with "end" and "write") and also export the CFG and save "startup-config" in eve options, at the next restart, the config is gone, "startup-config" in eve is good, but "startup-config" in the routers is not the same.
the solution I found is to export all the lab and open it to a new folder (EVERY TIME I MAKE A CHANGE IN MY LAB) to save my work.
