Hello All,

This is my first post.

I love EVE-NG and appreciate the team putting together such an awesome application.

I am new to EVE_NG. I have EVE-NG working on a VMWARE machine and I can run labs. I am access EVE-NG web GUI from my windows 7 client machine.

I have installed windows client side pack. When I try to run wireshark captures I cannot see any traffic.

I have checked the wireshark_wrapper.bat file to make sure the login and password is correct.

When I click the capture link a CMD window opens and displays as "Connecting to "root@x.x.x.x" bash: tcpdump: command not found" meanwhile wireshark opens and displays no traffic.

Please help me to troubleshoot the problem.

Thanks in advance for your support.

you have to check if root password in wireshark wrapper match your eve root password.

C:\Program Files\EVE-NG/wireshark_wrapper.bat

if you are using previous UNL win pack, wrapper location is:

C:\Program Files\Unetlab\

but looks like you have installed win pack.
So be sure that win pack is installed fully, wireshark is installed at drefault location C:/program files/
and to capture traffic on node interface it must be alive, working, in state up/up.

Hi Uldis,

Thanks for your reply.

I did checked the username and password in wireshark_wrapper.bat file and they are correct.

The win pack files are installed in C:/program files/eve-ng/ folder.

Attached snapshots.

One think I noticed in that the interface is not created.
