I am trying to get access to ASDM for my ASAv's inside my UNL lab. I have followed this article with no luck:
http://www.802101.com/connecting-virtua ... l-unetlab/
I have two vswitches for my EVENG VM. One called lab network and one called Ext_Net. On the Ext_Net vswitch i have accepted promiscuous mode. I have two NICs on the VM, one for the Lab network vswitch and one for the external net vswitch.
root@eve-ng:~# ifconfig -a | grep ^eth
eth0 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:0c:29:a9:62:c3
eth1 Link encap:Ethernet HWaddr 00:0c:29:a9:62:cd
root@eve-ng:~#
Eth0 is the lab network vswitch which a 4 port etherchannel to my 2960 trunking all vlans needed for all my vmware hosts.
Eth1 is the Ext_Net vswitch which is connected to my 2960 allowing only vlan 200 which is where the IP address of the EVE VM sits.
So I drop cloud1 as I assume it maps to Eth1, and connect it to a router and give a router an ip address on my vlan 200 for a test and try to ping it. It doesn't work.
What am I missing?
