unable to connect to the internet using pnet1

Hi.

im using vsphere for my eve, i have 2 network adaptors.. eth0 for management.. and eth1 for the internet cloud connectivity of eve ng devices... the vsphere is connected to physical cisco switch,,, and the physical cisco switch can see the device, via CDP i.e. R1 e0/0 (eve) layer 2 mac address is ok.. but layer 3 connectivity is not working.. kindly advice.

eth1 is connected to vsphwere vmnet with interface in promiscuous mode..

you have to be sure on esxi vswitch used for eth1 is allowed promiscue mode, it myst be allowed.
Check vswitch security settings.

Yes vswitch and eth1 are in promiscuos mode.. by the way im using static ip on pnet0 all is working fine..

tried pnet0 also not working..

Rebooted the server so many times..

iface eth1 inet manual
auto pnet1
iface pnet1 inet manual
bridge_ports eth1
bridge_stp off
