I use eve almost every day, conducting PoC for my work and study.
One feature I would Love. ( have asked about this before )
is the ability to tell a node or eve-ng to start a node without intervention after eve-ng has powered up.
literally eve-ng boots, and then say a few mins later its starts booting nodes in a particular lab
what is the use case
1) Power saving/time saving: It's useful to have my lab start-up in the morning before I'm up. In some cases, I have 20 - 30 nodes, all quite resource-intensive, and it takes a long time for it all to start up and stabilise.
2) remote access to the lab itself: I could have a remote access solution running in Eve-NG, and it is super useful when away from home, no need for a separate hardware.
I did build something once using a raspberry pi to make API calls to Eve to start nodes , this is hard work and required additional hardware and it is just another thing to maintain.
