Hi all,
Can anyone please explain in which cases we prefer to use IOSv or IOU? ? what is the difference ? can we also "mix" them, for example to use iosv for l3 and iou for L2 ?

IOU/IOL is very light, and if you have not serious PPC or server better to use IOL.
vIOS is replica of real IOS and router, means, id you will need upload somthing in flash use vIOS...
VPN LAB with uploaded anyconnect image will work with vIOS or CSR
And of course you can mix them, where need use vIOS, rest IOL
