Hello Everyone

Is it possible to use Eve-ng without being connected to a home wifi router ?

I am using windows 10 machine and Eve-ng installed on vmware workstation player . While installing i assigned a static ip 192.168.1.102 (which was from pool of DHCP router has provided ) and it is working till i am connected to my wifi router .

After disconnecting from Wifi , when i am starting eve-ng it is not not picking ip address not even configured static 192.168.1.102 .

Any insights on solution please ?

Sir,
you simply have to read EVE cookbook.
for laptops is always recommended VM Ware NAT adatper to be as Mgmt ....
Please change you Mgmt interface to NAT and reset new IP..

It is all described in the EVE cookbook and even given in videos
