Macbook_NAT Install Eliminates Ubuntu access to Create Directories

Post by tammy9931 » Wed Jan 13, 2021 5:48 pm

I don't know if I am saying this correctly - forgive my novice knowledge/terminology.

A NAT/Static deployment eliminates access to create directories.
root@eve-ng:~# ls
labs-202101110344.tgz

In bridged deployment I am able to create directories and upload virl files.

Is there a work around that will allow me to use NAT so i have the mobility with my MAC or are the limitations of EVE on Fusion restricting me to only using it on my home network?

Many thanks,
Tammy

okay Udis, I'm following you. I just have a bigger uptake in information to muscle through this. The .tgz was throwing me and I didn't know how to sift through it.

cd .. took me to where I needed.

Simple for some IT people, a new paradigm for others.
