Dupplicate IP Address issue on Cisco routers

Post by gayansa » Fri Mar 19, 2021 3:10 pm

Hi All,

I am facing a issue with management cloud network and Cisco routers i.e. whenever I create a IP address with the range of Management cloud link ( which is bridged with Wireless address ) I get a message on the router saying duplicate IP address detected. Seems it could be a VMWare Workstation issue according to google. I would really appreciate if you can advise on this issue.

Thank you,
Gayan

Not all wireless adapters support bridging with VM ware.
therefore it no guarantee that bridged laptop wifi will work.
Use NAT adapter instead, it is best recommendation for laptop EVE runners
