CPU Overload

Hello, I am running a lab with 8 Cisco routers running IOL L3 image. After starting the routers and beginning the configuration, I am no longer able to console into them and I see the CPU usage at 100%. I am running Eve on VMware on an ASUS laptop - Intel Core 10th Gen i7 with the following configuration: - 12GB Memory - 500GB HDD (for EVE VM).
I thought with minimal requirements I should be able to run more than 10 nodes at once.

Use IOL routers, those you can run more.
10 x vIOS routers need about 10 virtual cpu cores
but 10 x IOL need 1 vCPU
