vSRX3.0 23.1R1.8 all interfaces up/up

Hello,
I am using vSRX3.0 image with version 23.1R1.8 and wondering if this is an per design behavior or something wrong. I see all interfaces up/up no matter if they are connected or not. Its still virtualization issue where you see interfaces up/up? I dont think so as on cisco images or other images, even on Juniper vEX image i see interfaces in up/down or down/down state...so they reflect exact state.
