Expand or Close Part of Topology

Post by mohsenrezaei » Thu Oct 12, 2017 10:44 am

Hi
I would like to ask you, add a feature to expand and close part of map's lab
or we can draw a square or circle shape, around of nodes then we can close the shape and hide elements that are in the shape

I dont see any benefit of such option.
You can use custom topoology uploaded as extra for lab, using zoom you can use to zoom parts of lab.
To hide native topology and by parts is not possible and will not be offered.
I could agree to hide all physical topology and leave only Logical topo for students use, but not that what you asking.
option to hide physical topology probably will be only in Educational centre edition

I imagine that we can have an application like Mikrotik's dude but useful for more cases and more suitable than the Dude.based on Eve-ng

its good if we have a live topology diagram of networks, that we can run and open any devices that we have in our network,
or have an application like Microsoft Visio but live by an ability to connect to network's nodes.

finally, i work in an ISP, we have a huge network diagram in Dude, in Dude, every node can show its child nodes in a different level of view.

I think its good if there was a hierarchy level of nodes to view the map or we could make nodes in a group.

I hope my explanation has been vividly
