Assigning "variable" router name to template

Post by kbmelati » Mon Dec 14, 2020 5:10 am

Dear Eve-NG developer ?

Is it possible to add a variable to template ?

for example, in "/opt/unetlab/html/templates/intel/timos.yml" we have something like :
->
management_address: 1.1.1.1/24
->

can we add some variable to template ? so for example we create node and got assigned node number #4, then we assign "management_address: 1.1.1.4/24".

Or maybe we can extract node name ?
->
name: 7750SR
->

Another example :
when user give name to the node as "Router1", then license file will be "Router1.license".

Thanks.
