KERNEL 4.9.39 AND QEMU-2.9.0

Post by patmikael » Thu Jul 27, 2017 3:39 pm

Hi Mike
Kernel 4.9.39 together with qemu v2.9.0 improves notably EVE-NG's performance especially for the qemu nodes.
I have tested it intensively and I can confirm it is stable and improves the overall system.
Please integrate it asap so that guys who don't know how to change the necessary scripts in the /unetlab/scripts folder,
can enjoy it immediately by doing a simple apt-get update, apt-get upgrade before your next release.
It's not much work just few minutes to modify the 2 files.

I hope you can make it

many thanks for your great work

That sounds really promising - can't wait to test my Juniper-Labs on this ;)

Hi ecze,

is there a way to join a "beta" group for these tests? Do you have something like this?
