Not able to start windows server 2016 / 2019

Post by informramki » Mon May 04, 2020 7:03 am

Hi

I am trying to run win 2019 or 2016 server (tried both the versions) on eve-ng community (VMware Fusion on my mac). Although I gave enough space and connecting to the network (cloud management0), I am able to bring the VM, but not able start the VM (though I am getting message from eve-ng that windows started), the icon does not turn blue and VM is not starting, in VNC / RDP.
Tried different browser too, not able to bring it up.

Can anyone help fix this.

Thanks

In the Edit Settings for the windows vm, I have by default setting vnc, but no way it prompts for the vnc / qemu vnc or anything as shown in a youtube video. I changed it to RDP and tried stopping and starting the vm, this time it turned to blue but did not start the vm in actual. I see a message Started bpfilter in eve console.

Can anyone please help ?

I am using mac and VT-x is enabled. There was some settings needed, in the qemu version. I think it worked for me. Vmanage is the issue which i am not able solve. If you happen to see this post. I have updated my post with the details
